Being employed in the field of home inspection, I often see the work of local contractors -- new construction, repairs or major renovations.

I have, previously, written about Bellingham general contractor Mark Palmer and his high quality outdoor kitchens. These are a specialty item, popular at some of the high-end homes in the Pacific Northwest.

This is an interesting sideline business. But Mark and his crew support themselves, primarily, from conventional carpentry and construction projects. His firm has incredible versatility. Mark can handle just about any job -- from top to bottom --  new construction, to major renovations, outdoor structures and decks.
