An Inner Drive
As a child, she was fascinated by riddles, puzzles and problem solving. That fascination lured her to work at the National Security Agency (NSA), also known as the “Puzzle Palace.” After several years at NSA, the travel bug kicked in and she decided to see the world. She enlisted in the Air Force and worked her way up into the officer ranks. The NSA experience led her to an Air Force career in military intelligence researching the activities of the former Soviet Union. The G.I. Bill helped her earn a bachelor’s degree in business from Campbell University in North Carolina where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Chris continued to travel the world to find more places to utilize her analytical talents. She worked at Credit Suisse in Zurich Switzerland in the bank’s international department specializing in foreign trade financing.Family
Chris and her husband Mike have two daughters. Their family enjoys the outdoors and travelling. Chris is an avid runner and you will likely see her running one of the many races in and around Whatcom County.Hands-on Success
